Spikes Asia 2011 took place in Singapore from 18 to 20 September 2011 to celebrate and inspire Asian creativity in advertising.

Building on the illustrious Spikes Awards, the Festival is a collaboration between Cannes Lions and Haymarket. It provides the region’s growing creative and advertising industry with a platform to network and exchange ideas, bringing together some of the finest creative thinkers from across the region and around the world.

Location
The Festival took place at Suntec Singapore, a state-of-the-art venue with first-class facilities located in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District, just 20 minutes from Changi International Airport and close to many of the city’s top hotels.

Who should attend?
Festival attendance benefits all individuals involved in creativity and communications, including art directors, creatives, copywriters, media agency executives, clients, account managers, agency heads, producers and directors from the region and around the globe. Student and Young Spikes (for young creatives) registration packages are also available.

The Festival Programme
The Festival offers a challenging programme of seminars and workshops focusing on creativity and learning, exhibitions of creative work from Asia, networking events in the evening and the Spikes Asia Awards Ceremony.

Spikes Asia Awards
The region’s oldest and most prestigious awards for creative advertising reward the best entries in TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Digital, Integrated (Jade Spikes), Direct & Sales Promotion, Media, Print Craft, TV/Cinema Craft and Design. Six juries of leading international and regional creatives judge the work in Singapore during the Festival week.

Young Spikes Competition
Young Spikes – a competition for creatives under 28 years of age – is part of the festival programme, with the aim of cultivating young talent in this vibrant region.
