TV/Cinema, Radio And Digital Shortlists Announced

A total of 69 TV/Cinema, 13 Radio and 63 Digital entries have made it through to the shortlist at this year’s Spikes Awards, Asia’s leading creative advertising competition.


The shortlist for the remaining Integrated, TV/Cinema Craft and Print Craft categories will be announced on Friday.

Judging has been completed in Singapore. The winners, along with the Spikes Asia 2009 Agency of the Year, Media Agency of the Year and Network of the Year will be revealed at Friday night’s awards ceremony.

The second day of the Spikes Asia Festival included packed seminar sessions presented by TBWA\ and Leo Burnett + Contagious. ‘Is Asian creativity up to the task?’ was the topic of The Spikes Debate and BBC World News presenter, Mishal Husain, conducted the ‘BBC Hardtalk with Neil French’ session with challenging questions about his past, present and future. Microsoft Advertising also hosted a workshop on Online Gaming.

On Thursday night, Spikes delegates enjoyed the hospitality of six Singaporean agencies who threw open their doors for the Networking After Dark event.
