Brief Explanation
The challenge was designing a logo that would simply and succinctly express both the digital nature of the event, but also give a strong impression of the learning offered.
Describe the brief from the client:
Create an identity for strategic training that would reflect the digital nature of the offering.
Description of how you arrived at the final design:
The idea of pixels being sharpened was an interesting metaphor, with an equally fun wordplay.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market:
For the initial three-day event, attendance was 72% of those invited. There was enormous feedback from those who attended on both the name and the design of the identity. In addition, the USB-powered pencil sharpener was a much-appreciated gift that filled out the concept.
