Cricket Australia is relaunching its domestic Twenty20 competition in 2011, with the new brand of KFC Big Bash League. The league will be re-envisioned from a state-based competition to city-based.
Cricket Australia wanted to launch a new league Web site along with new sites for each of the eight teams. The new BBL site is aimed at teens and families with the target audience of 16-29 year olds.The objectives for Cricket Australia are to create a sense of competition between the teams and fans, drive revenue and deliver owned channels for marketing/brand messaging.
