Spikes Asia is the place where Asia Pacific’s creative community comes together for a spectacular celebration of creativity in communications. On 27-29 September 2017, Spikes Asia returns for another three days packed with inspiring, educational and entertaining content. Here's what to look forward to.

Masters of Creativity Programme

Where Masters from the creative community and beyond deliver expert sessions. Masters share wisdom about their creative process, what inspires them, their industry experiences, and how the audience can champion key messages and agendas to move the industry forward. This programme is ALL about pure creativity and the creative process. It inspires new ideas, new ways of thinking and new approaches to driving creativity and creative communications. Speakers confirmed include Matt Eastwood, Mark Tutssel, Kate Stanners, Jayanta Jenkins and Angela Lee.

In-Focus Programme

This ‘topic based’ programme tackles day-to-day industry challenges and offers clear take-away learnings for the audience to implement in their own creative work. Sessions explore the hot topics facing the evolving creative industry, including: new agency models, the changing media landscape; agency-client relationships; audiences and insights; talent, culture and leadership; the role of data and technology in creativity and more. We have a fantastic speaker lineup including Al Moseley, Islam ElDessouky, Daniel Hughes, Julia Izmalkowa, Yonathan Dominitz and Mark Read.

Market Focus Programme

Shining a spotlight on the challenges associated with individual local market creativity, this programme delves into the new concepts and bold ideas born from within single markets in the region.

Topics include local culture and design; building an identity within the local market; cultivating talent and diversity in the local industry; the evolution of media in the region; and exploring cultural influences and brand experiences. Expect speakers like Travis Johnson, Clarence Chua and more.

Innovation Programme

This programme is a discovery of technology-enhanced creativity, allowing delegates to demystify what the latest cutting-edge technology means in a creative context. 

The Innovation programme takes a step into the future and demonstrates applied technology in action, including live demonstrations of the technology itself. Topics explored include: VR and AR; IoT and connected communications; robotics and artificial intelligence; location tech and mobile; voice and bot tech; and more. This programme champions effective brand communications and strategies that deliver tangible ROI, taking a deeper dive into effectiveness, data and media analytics and strategy and will feature the likes of Kent Wertime and Adam Bow.

Makers Programme

Meet the makers, become a maker. These workshop-style sessions deliver practical, highly interactive classes. With a tangible output and “how-to” focus, smaller groups of attendees explore a specific challenge with an expert leader.

These are practical, hands-on sessions with a high level of audience involvement. Workshops include exercises and interactive learning with practical take-aways for participants, which can be applied to their creative work.  On the programme are Marko Klijn, Christian Greet, Sephora Markson Hartz and Christian Mix-Linzer.
