Chrissy Payne

With over 25 years’ experience in media and 15 of those at OMD, Chrissy brings an unrivalled breadth of experience spanning Client Service and Planning roles across numerous brands and categories.

Chrissy was instrumental in establishing the specialist Planning function for OMD Auckland three years ago when the agency went through a structural transformation, evolving the craft of media to suit clients’ changing needs. She also takes the lead role in supporting not-for-profit clients to help them deliver growth against their marketing ambitions.

Chrissy is a leader who is truly dedicated to mentoring others and driving career growth, inspiring others to share her passion to deliver best in class work. She has been a recipient of the prestigious ‘Sandy Smith Inspiring Individual’ award at the NZ Beacon Awards, where peers nominate the ‘unsung hero’ in the industry; the person who inspires others with their generosity of spirit, patience, willingness and passion, and who is integral to the company’s culture and success. Chrissy has also contributed to multiple awards across Effie’s, Beacons and Festival of Media during her career.
