As Executive Creative Director at Havas Ortega Group, Angie leads the agency’s creative vision to make a meaningful impact for Havas Village clients in media, digital, CRM, PR, branding, healthcare, and sustainability.

Before joining advertising, she was a radio DJ and newscaster for some of Metro Manila’s top FM stations—an experience that ignited her passion for storytelling. Her two-decade journey in the industry has taken her to Ogilvy, TBWA\SMP and Ace Saatchi & Saatchi in the Philippines, and Grey Group in Malaysia.

Angie’s work has earned both local and international recognition, with awards for creativity and effectiveness, and she has served as a juror at prestigious festivals such as Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, Adfest, One Asia, APAC Effie, ADC Awards, and D&AD, among others. She is also a regular speaker and panelist at industry events. In 2024, Angie served as President of the 4As Philippines Creative Guild, where she spearheaded CreativeFest 2024—the first in-person festival for the Philippine advertising community after the pandemic—and the 16th Kidlat Awards, the country’s premier creative advertising awards show.

Committed to nurturing the next generation of creative talent, Angie mentors university students and frequently judges both local and international young creatives competitions.

She is currently working on a personal project to transform an abandoned school in her home province into a vibrant creative hub—a space for artists, writers, and lifelong learners to collaborate. For Angie, creativity is not just a career; it’s a way to build communities and drive change.
