For the next generation of communications talent

The Young Spikes Competitions are aimed at creatives who are aged 30 or under (born on or after 27 February 1990) and employed in advertising and communications businesses in a skill discipline relevant to their chosen competition.

The Young Spikes Competitions provide Asia Pacific's next generation of creative talent a unique chance to gain recognition and make their mark on the industry.

Two online competitions for 2021

The competition brief has been published and teams can submit an entry from now until entries close on 25 September 2020.

Young Spikes Integrated Competition

Teams have to come up with a fully integrated campaign in response to a brief before demonstrating how it can be launched and executed.

Young Spikes Film Competition

Teams have to come up with a storyboard for a 60-second video advertisement in response to a brief.

The Prize

A panel of expert judges will review each entry and select the winners, who will be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. The Gold winning team will also receive delegate passes to the next Spikes Asia Festival and an exclusive winners interview with Campaign Asia.

How to get involved

Teams of two are required to submit a piece of work answering to the competition brief. The work will be judged and scored by a panel of creative communications experts. The teams with the highest scores will advance to the 2nd round and present their work to the judges.
