The Young Spikes Competitions provide Asia Pacific's next generation of creative talent a unique chance to gain recognition and make their mark on the industry.

Aimed at creatives 30 and under working in relevant advertising and communications disciplines for their chosen competition.

Young Spikes Integrated Competition

Teams have to come up with a fully integrated campaign in response to a brief before demonstrating how it can be launched and executed.

Young Spikes Digital Competition

Teams must create an integrated, digital led campaign, explaining how the use of technology answers the brief in a creative way. The objective is to show how the power of digital technology can answer the Competition Partners challenge.

Competition Timeline

Online

  • Friday 6 March: Live Virtual Briefing
  • Saturday 7 March: Submission deadline

In-person

  • Wednesday 11 March: Live Presentation & Judging
  • Thursday 12 March: Winners Announcement & Debrief

*Gold, Silver & Bronze winners will be announced on 12 March 2026. *Gold winners will be invited to attend the Awards Ceremony & Dinner on the evening of 12 March 2026, where they will receive their medal.

Registration Fee

There is a registration fee of SGD700 per entrant, which includes:

  • Young Spikes competition entry (includes debrief with the Jury)
  • Pre-competition workshop
  • Access to the Creative Campus
  • Access to Next Gen Creativity, presented by IAA Singapore & Spikes Asia: a high-energy, immersive evening designed to connect next-generation talent with senior industry leaders across creativity, marketing and advertising. Blending thought leadership, next-gen perspectives and hands-on mentoring, this experience is built for real conversation, honest insight, and meaningful connection.

How to get involved

For the 2026 competition, the age limit is 30 years old and under (born on or after 26 June 1995).

Teams of two are required to submit a piece of work answering to the competition brief (for the Integrated competition, teams of two or three are welcome). The work will be judged and scored by a panel of creative communications experts.
