Terms and Conditions

Press accreditations will only be issued to actively covering, legitimate media who wish to attend the Festival to report on the event. Non-editorial staff (PR, Communications, Marketing, Sales, Publishers) must register as a delegate.

Proof of press status is required to be submitted by all media as follows:

PUBLICATION & ONLINE JOURNALISTS
Copy of a recent by-lined article (no more than 1 month old)
Copy of the editorial masthead
Copy of a valid press card – if you do not have a press card then a commissioning letter from the Editor-in-Chief should be provided

FREELANCE JOURNALISTS
Copy of a recent by-lined article (no more than 1 month old)
A commissioning letter from the Editor-in-Chief

FILM & RADIO CREWS
A letter, on company letterhead, confirming details of the programme and when it will be broadcast
Copy of a valid press card – if you do not have a press card then a commissioning letter from the broadcaster should be provided
URL link or copy of a recent programme

BLOGGERS
URL link to a recent by-lined article (no more than 1 month old)
URL link to the page on the blog which shows your name and job title
Bloggers Please Note: Writing/Blogging must be your main profession. Your blog should have relevant news stories posted to it at least once a week. Agency blogs, personal blogs and fan sites do not qualify for press accreditation. Only established and well regarded blogs will be considered for press accreditation

PHOTOGRAPHERS
URL links to your recent by-lined photographs
If you work for a publication/online media company – URL link to the editorial masthead where your name is listed
If you are a freelancer – a commissioning letter from the Editor-in-Chief

Applications for press accreditations should be completed via the website, and proof of press uploaded, prior to the Festival. Your application is not considered complete until receipt of proof of press. Further information may be requested by the Press Office.

If you are approved for press accreditation, you will receive confirmation by email. Please allow the Press Office 14 working days to consider your request.

Journalist accreditation to attend the Festival activities is complimentary.

The Festival organisers reserve the right to publish the information contained in your journalist accreditation request form.

We are unable to allocate hotel accommodation until we have received sufficient proof of press and your accreditation has been approved.

Photographers need to contact the Press Centre to photograph the awards ceremony.

Filming is strictly forbidden during the awards ceremony. Footage can be provided by the Festival to TV stations. For further information, as well as material and facilities available to journalists, please contact the Press Office or refer to the press kit.

All material supplied by the Spikes Asia Press Office to journalists is strictly only to be used for Festival coverage.

The Festival organisers reserve the right to decline press accreditations.

Your 2015 Festival coverage (articles, TV programme etc) must be sent to the Festival office in London. Failure to do so may jeopardise the processing of your 2016 press accreditation. Press accreditations issued for previous Ascential Events (Europe) Limited does not guarantee entry to the 2016 Festival.
