Cat is the CEO at MarkyCo – a CMO On-Demand service for brands looking to become more customer-centric and human. She partners with startups & lean teams across ASEAN to grow, nurture and satisfy customers.
Her belief is that Marketing has become all about technology, data & “shiny new thing syndrome”. Somewhere along the way we forgot about putting customers & humans first.
Originally from Sydney, Cat has over 15 years hands-on experience in Global and Regional Marketing roles based in London and now Singapore. Along the journey, she has partnered with teams across 30 countries to enter new markets and drive growth for brands like Unilever, Kimberly-Clark, Nestle, Kellogg’s, Rolex & Zurich Insurance.
Most recently, Cat was leading Marketing at McGraw-Hill Education across APAC as a member of the senior leadership team as they were transforming into a Software-As-Service Business (SAAS). Her remit covered Go-To-Market across the customer journey from global product development, value pricing, customer & channel partners, thought-leadership, digital innovation, marketing technology, eCommerce and CRM (Salesforce).
Cat’s agency experience includes leading Mindshare’s approach to Adaptive Marketing across 16 markets as the APAC Head of Product & Strategy. She also championed digital insight & strategy development globally with Facebook and Google as a member of the Global Digital Council.
