John is one of APAC’s pioneering digital creative directors, who has lived and worked in Australia, Singapore, the Philippines, China, India, Cambodia, the US and Chile.
His multidisciplinary professional background is a mash-up of market research, graphic design, video, copywriting, illustration, animation, interactivity, photography, multimedia production, user experience and digital strategy. John has produced award-winning work for Nokia, Dell, HP, Compaq, Sony, Telstra, Optus, Singtel, Starhub, Mobitel, Visa, Singapore Airlines, MTV, Heineken, Coca-Cola, Audi, Mercedes Benz, and NineMSN.
John is also the co-author of “Digital Doesn’t Matter”, a crowdfunded and crowdsourced book and tablet app, offering global insights into the demise of the traditional agency model and proposals for new business models in our post-analog world.
He's currently working on a startup called "Dextr" which not only aims to speed the adaption of smartphone technology amongst the “forgotten five billion" of the developing world, but - taking a leaf out of his own book - incorporates a brand new mobile advertising platform with the potential to 'outgoogle' Google.
