What the Academy will explore in 2019

This course will work to get candidates to think more holistically about campaign planning beyond the traditional silos of ‘media’, ‘creative’ and ‘strategy’. We need to wear multiple hats in today’s boardroom. It’s no longer enough to propose a solid media plan. Client’s expect us to come to them with approaches that connects the entire client ecosystem across paid, owned and earned. And, as a result, the ‘big idea’ now has to translate across multiple platforms, following consumer behaviour. In Spikes Asia’s Media Academy we will give you the knowledge and tools to be able to confidently propose solutions for a new era of media planning.

Considering all customer touchpoints

How do we work in our agencies to think about the entire client ecosystem and all possible consumer touch points with our campaigns?

Big data without theory is useless

While data must be at the heart of what we do, without theory to drive it, it's pointless. Learn how to use data smartly to better engage with your audiences.

What is a strategy?

The digital ecosystem is changing rapidly. Here, we discuss just what makes a marketing strategy in 2019.

Content and revenue

What does content mean and how does it open up new avenues of revenue?

It's all about the story

How to tell a compelling narrative with your brand, and what it can mean for your brand's positioning and growth.

Performance vs Brand

How to plan for objectives to increase performance and ROI.
