Nowadays, drinking whisky at a bar is a habit only seen in seniors.
The objective was to drive the trend by providing an innovative experience at the bar.

Generate interest in whisky among young generation and motivate them to drink whisky.
Description of how you arrived at the final design:
We developed a service which users enjoy whisky with ice cube created in their desired shape with use of the state-of-the-art 3D technology.
The 3D-milled ice cube was served as “a promotional item” at the Pop Up Bar equipped with 3D machines, which generated excitement among the young generations.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market:
We rocked the world in just two weeks. Over 5 million Tweets from 47 countries spread the story around the world. More than a hundred inquiries were made to install our 3D on the Rocks service at bars, which contributed to Suntory whisky sales. We were covered on CNN, ABC, YAHOO!, CNET, and many other local and global news and trend sites. And, finally, we are in talks with fashion brands and the music industry for future parties and events.
