Special Awards

These Awards are won through the calculation of points from winning and shortlisted entries at Spikes Asia 2025 rather than awarded by a Jury.

The Special Awards for Spikes Asia 2025 are:

Network of the Year

The Network of the Year Award is given to the Network whose member companies obtain the most points for winning and shortlisted entries. Companies credited in the Idea Creation role will receive points towards the Network of the Year Award.

Media Network of the Year

The Media Network of the Year Award is given to the Media Network whose member companies obtain the most points for winning and shortlisted entries. Companies credited in the Media Placement role in Media Spikes receive points towards the Media Network of the Year Award.

Asia- Pacific Agency of the Year

The Agency of the Year Award is given to the Agency from the Asia-Pacific region that obtains the most points for winning and shortlisted entries. Companies credited in the Idea Creation role will receive points towards the Agency of the Year Award.

Independent Asia-Pacific Agency of the Year

The Independent Agency of the Year Award is given to the Independent Agency from the Asia-Pacific region that obtains the most points for winning and shortlisted entries. Companies credited in the Idea Creation role will receive points towards the Independent Agency of the Year Award.

The Spikes Palm

The Spikes Golden Palm Award is given to the Production Company from the Asia-pacific Region that obtains the most points for winning and shortlisted entries in the following Spikes: Entries in the Digital Craft, Entertainment (Categories A01, A02, A03, & F01), Film, Film Craft, Gaming (A01) and Music (A01)Spikes as well as Digital Craft, Entertainment, Film, Film Craft and Mobile Mediums in the Healthcare Spike. Companies credited in the Production role in the Spikes and Mediums listed above receive points towards The Spikes Golden Palm Award.

Strategy & Effectiveness Agency of the Year

The Strategy & Effectiveness Agency of the Year award is given to the agency that obtains the most points overall in the Creative Effectiveness Spikes and the Creative Strategy Spikes. Companies credited in the Idea Creation role will receive points towards the Strategy & Effectiveness Agency of the Year Award.

Agency of the Year by Market

The Agency of the Year by Market Award is given to the Agency from an individual market that obtains the most points for winning and shortlisted entries. Companies credited in the Idea Creation role will get points towards the Agency of the Year by Market Award.

The individual markets recognised are: Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Chinese Taipei, Fiji, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kiribati, Laos, Mainland China, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, The Philippines, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Vietnam

For a market to qualify for Agency of the Year by Market there must be a minimum of five different Entrant Companies from that individual market.

For an Agency to qualify to be awarded or placed in the Agency of the Year by Market, they must obtain a minimum of 15 points as calculated in accordance with the Spikes Asia points system.
