Biography
Alvin Neo is one of Asia’s most respected marketing leaders, with over two decades of experience across retail, FMCG, healthcare, professional services, and loyalty. His career spans Procter & Gamble, Gillette, Johnson & Johnson Consumer, Johnson & Johnson Medical, IHH Healthcare, Netdecisions, and Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He currently serves as Chief Customer & Marketing Officer of FairPrice Group.
Alvin was named to Campaign Asia-Pacific’s Power List 2025, the Top 50 Over Fifty 2025, and most recently awarded CMO of the Year 2025 at the MARKETECH APAC Awards. He was also recognised as Marketing Mastermind at the AAMS Hall of Fame 2024. At FairPrice Group. Under his watch, the company has experienced record gains in Nielsen grocery share, brand equity, NPS, and marketing ROI, including the high-impact FPG 50th Anniversary campaign and the relaunch of the ‘Every Day, Made A Little Better’ ethos.
A committed industry builder, Alvin previously served as Chairman of APPIES at the Institute of Advertising Singapore and is a regular APAC Effie Awards judge and guest lecturer at NUS. He is a strong champion of data, martech, and AI-leverage, believing that creativity becomes most powerful when paired with intelligence and customer empathy.
