Biography

Barbara is Chief Creative Officer of Droga5 ANZ, part of Accenture Song.

Formerly The Monkeys, the agency has been recognised at every top international award show across their roster of clients, culminating in numerous Agency of Year accolades for both effectiveness and creativity and #1 global rankings for the region at Cannes, D&AD, Effies and One Show.

Barbara was recently awarded back-to-back Grands Prix for the coveted Film (‘Play it Safe’ for Sydney Opera House )in 2024, and Dan Wieden Titanium category in 2023 (for The First Digital Nation project, for The Government of Tuvalu).

Her work has been consistently recognised at every major international show, and she has been jury president at One Show, AWARD and Shots, as well as a juror at D&AD, Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia, Clios, One Show , LIA and AWARD.

She is widely sought as a speaker, panelist and as a mentor, lecturing at AWARD School, AWARD Craft and D&AD Shift.

Barbara was recognized as Creative Leader of the Year in 2024 and has been recognised on the Women in Media ‘Power List’ for the last three years.
