Corey Chalmers is Chief Creative Officer at YoungShand, one of Aotearoa's leading independent, integrated agencies. As one of NZ's leading writers, his experience spans a 30 year career, with previously held leadership roles at Saatchi & Saatchi, Droga5, TBWA, M&C Saatchi, and Ogilvy. He has won multiple Cannes Lions and Grand Effies, as well as numerous D&AD, One Show and AWARD pencils. Corey is also an in-demand judge, having represented Aotearoa at Cannes, D&AD (twice), AWARD, AdFest and multiple local NZ shows.

With a love for comedy, music, film, direction, screenwriting and gaming, Corey's work is renowned for its entertainment, smart writing and genuine connection with audiences. When not at work, he'll be found collecting left-handed guitars, fiddling with Premiere Pro, After Effects and a multitude of AI tools, or following his beloved LA Dodgers while repairing endless things in his garage.
