Chief Creative Officer
Giant Kung joined Ogilvy Taiwan in 2000 as a copywriter, steadily working his way up to Chief Creative Officer in 2020.
Some of his most representative works have arisen from his long-term collaborations with the brands Vedan More Water and PX Mart. His work has been lauded with the grand prix at such advertising competitions as AAAA Taiwan, Times Award, AAAA China, LongXi, and Spikes, and he has also won honors at numerous international awards including LIA, Cannes Lions, Clio, One Show, and D&AD.
In 2016 #MyFutureIsMineToSave won Taiwan’s first One Show Gold Pencil. In the same year, Giant Kung was named one of GQ’s ‘Men of the Year’.
In 2021, Giant led Ogilvy Taiwan to win two One Show pencils, three CLIO awards, five D&AD pencils, two Cannes Lions, and two LIAs, becoming Campaign Brief Asia’s Taiwanese Agency of the Year, ranking No. 11 in the Asia-Pacific Region, and for the first time in history, ranking No. 9 in the Ogilvy Cadre.
In addition, Giant has directed films, has written a magazine column, and currently serves as an university assistant professor. He is the author of three books, I Am Running, When Creative Met Creativity and Obsession with Objects .
