Biography
Richard is a Group Executive Creative Director across Melbourne and Sydney at VML. He has worked in the communications industry for over 20 years.
Richard is anomaly in the industry only working in two creative departments. During those two stints he has created iconic work that featured talking testicles, a human car chase and a piece of outdoor that doubles as an eye test. His work has been recognised at, you guessed it, ‘all global award shows’ and one piece, for Carlton Draught was submitted in New York’s MoMA.
Before arriving at VML 12 months ago, he helped lead Clemenger BBDO to Campaign Brief Agency of the decade and Cannes and D&AD agency of the year in 2017. Since joining VML, it has been recognised as the second most awarded Australian agency at Cannes and winner of Campaign Brief ‘The work’.
Richard has three teenage daughters. He values his time locked in jury rooms.
