Biography

Ruchi Sharma is an award-winning creative leader who has shaped brands across New York, the Americas, and the Asia Pacific. Born in India, a land of 1.4 billion humans, and academically grounded in Psychology, Sociology, and Human Rights, has helped her hone insights uncovering the human story in every brief, and decoding behaviour into ideas that move hearts and businesses.

Her creative consultancy, HumanSense, was born during the pandemic on a simple belief: humanity anchors us in uncertain times. Known for her authentic, empathetic, and straight-talking style, Ruchi leads with heart and honesty.

She brought home Sri Lanka’s first-ever Cannes finalist and has often represented the country as a jury member and speaker at top international awards. Her work includes UNHRC’s first digital human rights campaign, UNHCR’s initiative against gender-based violence, and Sri Lanka’s first campaign for the transgender community.

Ruchi serves on the D&AD Impact Council, teaches at Miami Ad School, writes the ‘Keeping it Human’ column for media tabloid Manifest, and mentors women through Women Empowered Global. She continues to expand her creative footprint into books and screenwriting, intent on leaving a meaningful HeartPrint.
