Biography

Shoji graduated at the top of his class from Kanazawa College of Art’s Department of Visual Design, where he built the artistic foundation that shapes his approach to visual storytelling.

He began his career at Daiko Advertising in 2001, progressing through roles from planner and designer to creative director, developing an integrated communication mindset across categories including electronics, gaming, food, and beverages.

His philosophy centers on media-neutral creativity—allowing ideas to take their most effective form.

In 2017, Shoji joined McCann Healthcare Worldwide Japan, working with global teams to craft strategies for leading pharmaceutical brands, blending scientific rigor with creative engagement.

Since 2020, he has served as Executive Creative Director at Dentsu Digital, driving innovation, creative transformation, and global collaboration while nurturing human-centered creativity within the agency.

Shoji’s work has earned numerous honors from Cannes Lions, CLIO, The One Show, D&AD, Spikes Asia, and major Japanese award programs.

Beyond his creative achievements, he contributes to the industry internationally as a juror, including service at Cannes Lions.

His multifaceted experience continues to bridge art and strategy, delivering emotionally resonant and results-driven communication.
