Biography
Teeny is the CEO and CCO of 7-time Independent Agency of the year in the Philippines, Seven A.D. She, together with 6 other partners, set-up shop and has since grown the business servicing over 40 clients and counting.
Teeny is also one of the women leaders in Philippine advertising today, doing jury work in both local and international award shows like the 4As Philippines Kidlat Creative Awards, Agency of the Year, Gerety and the Cannes Lions to name a few. She is passionate about helping bring change and evolution in the local advertising industry as well as championing independent agencies. As part of the 4AS Board, Teeny has served as Treasurer, Vice President and President. She also headed the Professional Practice and Ethics Committee that helped promote safe spaces for women in the industry as well as ethical business practices among member agencies. Teeny also spearheaded the enhancement of the 4As pitch policy to better protect agency work and the integrity of the process.
In her past life in McCann and DDB, she handled blue-chip accounts for several years like Coca-Cola, JnJ, Nestle, McDonald’s as well as the biggest local companies like Globe Telecom, Smart/PLDT Telecom, Unilab Pharmaceuticals and URC manufacturing. All these served as foundation for what she and her partners have built to be one of the strongest indie agencies in the country today.
Seven A.D. has won awards in 4As Agency of the Year, Campaign’s Brief Asia Agency of the year, the Philippine creative awards shows, Kidlat, Ad Summit, Tambuli, and international awards like Spikes, LIA, NY Festival, Asian Marketing and Effectiveness Awards (AME), Adstars, and won the first Youtube Crystal award in the Philippines.
