Khoo Kar Khoon is the Chairman of Gigagigs – a crowd sourcing marketing solutions startup in Malaysia/SEA/Greater China. With his many good years of experience in media, Khoo has also been appointed as the Independent Board of Director of Media Chinese International Limited, a public listed company in both Malaysia and HK Stock Exchange. Khoo has also recently sat on the Board of Ydigital Asia – a hybrid business consulting and digital agency in the region.Khoo is the former Communication Director of Nestle Malaysia, where he had instrumented many communication campaigns for more than fifteen key popular household brands in Malaysia including MILO, MAGGI, NESCAFE and KITKAT. Khoo joined Nestle in 2000 and rose from Media Manager to Communication Director, a role he held since 2009. Prior to joining the FMCG giant, Khoo was a key founding member of Zenith Media and he was also an accountant in Coopers & Lybrand - an international accounting firm before joining Zenith.Actively involved in growing the industry, Khoo is currently the Advisor and the Past President of Malaysia Advertisers Association, Executive Board Members of Asian Federation Of Advertisers and Member of the Board Of Advisor of UUM (University Utara Malaysia).Khoo has also been ranked top 10 in Asia’s Most Popular Person in Digital Advertising.
