Student Creative Award for Print

Students are asked to create a poster in response to a brief and the winner selected by the jury will be invited to experience the festival first-hand.

The Student Creative Award for Print offers an exciting and real communications challenge in which students can test their skills and respond to a live brief from a leading charitable organisation or NGO.

This is a chance for full-time university students between 18-25 to prove themselves among APAC's creative best. Original, attention-grabbing work that responds to the brief in a completely unique way goes far in this competition.

The work is judged and shortlisted online, before the winners are awarded live on stage at Spikes Asia 2018.

The Rules for Entering

Eligibility and Entry

The Student Creative Award for Print is open to students in full-time education, up to 23 years of age.

All entrants must create an A3 advert answering the brief.

Please ensure there are no copyright issues regarding the images used in your entry. Only one entry per student is permitted.

The countries eligible include:

Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan.

Required Documents

To complete your entry, you will need to upload the following:

  • Digital image of your entry in A3 landscape (height of 297mm and width of 420mm), JPG format, RGB, 300 dpi.
  • ONE form of ID – passport or driving licence

Please ensure you upload all of the necessary documents. Failure to do so may result in your entry not being accepted.

Note

All work created as part of the competition remains the property of Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity and the ideas can be used by the Charity as part of their advertising. All shortlisted boards will be displayed at the Festival from 26 to 28 September 2018.

The work will be judged by the Competition Jury in August. Shortlists will be announced in early September and the winner will be announced on 28 September 2018 at the Spikes Asia Awards.
