Sam McGuinness

A multidisciplinary designer, passionate about the intersection between brand and product.

Originally at R/GA New York, and now Design Director at R/GA Sydney, Sam has worked on a variety of Local and global clients such as Shopify, Samsung, Optus & Telstra across his career. More recently he leads design work across R/GAs APAC with clients such as Typo, Google, Zig, Yamaha, MOCA and others.

Having studied Industrial Design before moving into Branding and product design, he has a deep interest in Design thinking and how that applies to all areas of creativity. He has worked in many prominent design studios from Re_, Interbrand, and For The People in Sydney, to Turner Duckworth and now R/GA’s New York & Sydney offices. At these studios he’s received a variety of industry recognition for his work, such as from D&AD, AGDA, One Show, NY TDC and others.
