Spikes Asia announces 2020 dates and move to Marina Bay Sands to expand the Festival experience for delegates

The Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity has announced that the 2020 Festival will move venues and be held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore’s most iconic venue in the heart of the Lion City. The Festival is the region’s most prestigious event for the creative branded communications industry and will be held from 14 – 16 October 2020, providing three-days of celebration, learning and networking.

Joe Pullos, Festival Director, Spikes Asia, said: “I’m hugely excited to be announcing our investment in the future of Spikes Asia as we enter a new era of growth for Asia-Pacific’s most celebrated creative branded communications Festival and Awards show. This move will enable us to not only bring the entire festival under one roof across our four content stages, competitions and judging but also allow us to grow and add new programmes and networking platforms – similar to the CMO Growth Council and See It Be It launched last year.”

Speaking on the Coronavirus developments, Joe Pullos added: “As the COVID-19 situation evolves around the world, the Spikes Asia team continues to monitor developments closely, while following the advice from relevant public health officials especially the Singapore Government. Our thoughts are with all those affected. As things stand, the Festival will take place as planned from 14 – 16 October 2020. We are working closely with our customers, our sponsors and the broader industry to ensure we hold a safe and successful event. Spikes Asia continues to put the health, wellbeing and safety of our customers and employees first.”

At the Festival in October, Spikes Asia is debuting a cohesive hub for the seminars, judging inside the jury rooms, academies, competitions, and spaces for bespoke executive learning programmes. The final Awards show and after party, culminating the event, will also be held at Marina Bay Sands.

In order to enhance the Festival experience for all attendees, the delegate pass in 2020 will now include complimentary lunch and refreshments, and extended networking spaces for young talents and senior industry leaders. The region’s best creative work will take centre stage with exhibitions of shortlisted work.
