Film Craft

The Film Craft Spikes celebrate onscreen artistry.

The work should demonstrate exceptional filmmaking. It should showcase technical skill and prowess in production/post-production, elevating an idea or dramatically enhancing its execution.

Overview

The main criterion considered during judging will be the execution.

There is no overall limit to how many times the same piece of work can be entered into Film Craft.

Each execution constitutes one entry, and all executions must have run within the eligibility period.

Multiple microfilm executions can be entered as one entry up to a maximum 3 minutes. Each microfilm should be a maximum of 15 seconds in length and all entries must have run within the eligibility period.

Subtitles are highly recommended on all case films, films, demo films and original content.
